For every one pre-Depression upright that makes it to our sales floor, ten make it to the dumpster.  This one is still with us because the previous owner created a money pit, pouring thousands of dollars into restoring this piano -- the musical equivalent of "over-improving a home," where it's nice and all, but you'll never get all that money out of it upon resale.  If you're looking for an antique upright but don't want to have your own money pit begin, this is the piano for you.  It has been restrung, repinned and the action has been restored as well.
