SCHMOLLER
& MUELLER COMPANY HISTORY : |
As proof that America indeed had thousands of piano manufacturers in the
early part of the 20th century, here’s one with roots to Omaha,
Nebraska. Yes, even Omaha had its share of piano makers. This Schmoller
& Mueller was actually built long after the factory closed during
the Depression. The name lived on though and became a stencil brand, with
Starr making it until 1949. After that time, there is no documentation
of who made the piano…but we’re working on it. |
