Steinway M - Sketch Case 929C Art Case Grand Piano

This is a one-of-a-kind, commissioned "Art Case Steinway" built in 1923. We have all the framed, original documents from Steinway showing the quote to build it for the Barasso family in Wisconsin, a letter indicating that the matching bench would be built for $110 and a letter showing the retail price in 1923 was $2560. As a new policy of Steinway, they no longer provide documents of this nature in order to better preserve their originals. This is a real treasure!
