ABOUT MASON & HAMLIN PIANOS :	Mason & Hamlin is one of the two most prestigious brands in the American piano industry; the other being Steinway. Together these two brands have been producing world class instruments for over 150 years. While Steinway achieved global recognition their German plant which produced the pianos for global distribution, Mason & Hamlin has largely been confined to the U.S. M&H has been a rightful competitor to Steinway for most of its history. Buyers can enjoy a much better "buy" in the resale market for Mason & Hamlins however, because there aren't as many people seeking to buy one as a "trophy" -- a phenomenon that helps drive Steinway prices up to a point that many believe is well beyond their musical value.
