 Casio Digital Pianos Casio digital pianos have become a very popular choice for budget-minded digital piano buyers. Casio has come a long way since the days of watches and calculators. For years now Casio digital pianos have been affordable and have frankly been doing the best job at it. The Casio digital piano models offered in the $1000 range surpass the Yamaha products at those price points and are also top rated – (see this Downbeat Magazine article). Where Casio’s models and price points traditionally end, is where Roland and Kawai digital pianos really take off. Until now. 
Cordogan’s prices are internet competitive and we carry their best models as well, which aren’t able to be sold on websites (this is an industry standard). This limitation has to do with Casio’s incredibly long, 5 year IN-HOME warranty on the better models so Casio’s limited distribution helps limit the sales of these instruments to the full-service dealers (like chicagopianos.com), who have service people available to provide warranty repair for the instruments we sell. Casio is also a big player in the biggest growing area in the area of "pianos that plug in" – Hybrid Pianos. To put an exclamation point on the depths of Casio's wallets...and to show how serious Casio is, they somehow managed to partner with C. Bechstein – the famed, historic German piano manufacturer that many say builds the best grand piano in the world. That's who has helped to design their hybrid models. One look at the mechanism inside of Casio’s hybrid piano action, and it’s clear that most closely resembles the action of an acoustic grand piano. You really have to come in to believe how good these instruments are! :) |
