Yamaha MX85 Disklavier Player Piano from Chicago Pianos . com

ABOUT THIS YAMAHA PIANO:

This is one of the most unique used Yamaha pianos we've seen come through our doors because it's a highly sought after used Disklavier in a size that Yamaha no longer produces in a Disklavier.  This piano was built in America at a time when decorative consoles and new pianos in general, we're flying out the doors.  Yamaha made a full line of Disklavier player pianos during this time.  Today, Yamaha only makes one vertical Disklavier model and it's in the polished ebony 48" U1 model, with a retail price of $26,999!  So if you're looking for a high quality decorative player piano, you truly have only one choice -- find a used Disklavier.  Your internet research will support the fact that retrofitting an existing piano is not nearly as good as a Disklavier -- ESPECIALLY if you're looking for high quality playback...let alone recording (which this model also does).  The current control box packaged with this piano is upgradeable to Yamaha's new DKC850, albeit with some function limitations.

Please inquire for more information and don't move too slowly on this one.  We're pretty certain this is the only used MX85 Parisian available in the United States at this time.

YAMAHA
COMPANY
HISTORY :
While most people may think of a lot of different products when they hear the word "Yamaha", the company actually began as a piano manufacturer in 1901. Decades later they began to diversify and manufacture everything from engines to tennis racquets to stereo equipment. The familiar Yamaha logo seen on all Yamaha products is actually an arrangement of three tuning forks! Yamaha may not build the BEST jet ski or the best outboard motor or the best amplifier, but they're usually pretty darn good at everything, including pianos.
